The official trailer of the much-talked upcoming film Naam Shabana starring Akshay Kumar and Taapsee Pannu is finally out and it makes us believe so. Surprisingly, the film is actually a prequel to Neeraj Pandey’s critically acclaimed 2015 film Baby. Yes, Naam Shabana tracks the story before Taapsee’s entry into the team of special agents.
The trailer begins with the voice of Manoj Bajpayee, who strongly describes Shabana as one of those who wants to “live for their country, and not die. The trailer then showcases how the actress along with Jay Singh Rajput played by Akshay Kumar gets into a mission and how she became a part of the Baby.
Taapsee is looking killer and the actress is seen carrying out some the serious action sequences and punches like a no big deal. She is really giving a tough competition to Akshay Kumar in the trailer. Watch yourself and decide! The trailer also features Anupam Kher and Rana Dagubatti and the two have delivered some amazing scenes.
Naam Shabana is an Indian action spy thriller film directed by Shivam Nair and produced by Neeraj Pandey and Shital Bhatia under the Friday Filmworks banner. The film is a spin-off to Taapsee’s character from the 2015 film Baby. The film will hit theatres on March 31st, 2017.
