2nd Lieutenant Attar Singh Left Impressed With J.P. Dutta’s Paltan

J P Dutta’s Paltan brought to screen the lesser known war of 1967 hailing the brave heroes who fought for the nation. 2nd Lieutenant Attar Singh who was a part of the Indo-China war recently watched the war drama and shared his feelings on the same.

Actor Luv Sinha essayed the role of Attar Singh in the film and has had a very powerful impact in the story, one of the most important characters of the film, Attar Singh played a vital role in the 1967 war.

After watching the film, 2nd Lt Attar Singh left impressed and shared his feelings saying, ” J. P. Dutta and his team has showcased the war very well on screen , they have depicted it exceptionally great to a level that he could relate to it as he was the eyewitness.”

He asks the people of the nation to go ahead and watch the movie to know as to how the Paltan had fought the war.

Paltan completes India’s biggest war trilogy after winning hearts of the audience with Border and LOC Kargil. While the earlier two films showcased India’s wars with Pakistan, J P Dutta’s upcoming war film Paltan showcases the lesser known battle at Nathula pass.

Based on the Nathu La military clashes of 1967 which took place along the Sikkim border, Paltan showcases an untold story of the Indian forces facing off in an intense battle to ward off a Chinese infiltration.

Renowned filmmaker J P Dutta returns to direction after 12 years with Paltan. The national-award-winning director had earlier treated the audience with war films like Border, LOC Kargil, and Refugee among others.

With power-packed performances, the film promises to tell the riveting, untold story of the bravest of Indian soldiers who fought with their brothers next to them till the end.
