Benedict Cumberbatch’s return to India to meet the First Indian Superhero is driving people crazy. Indian fans are excited about the upcoming Marvel movie “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness” and his visit to India is a cherry on the top. The Marvel Cinematic Universe undoubtedly has a huge fan base in India, making the actors visit the talk-of-the-town.
Benedict Cumberbatch, who visited West Bengal and Rajasthan when he was 19 years old, wants to return and explore Ladakh and Southern India. He cherishes our traditional culture and adores Indian people. During an interview, the actor stated that he would love to engage with India’s first superhero, which piques the viewer’s interest. As per sources, he was referring to Shah Rukh Khan, King of Bollywood. Benedict favoured Khan over Hrithik Roshan as the ideal addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Krish’ and Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Ra-one’, though years apart, opened new doors for Bollywood to explore the ‘Superhero’ genre.
Doctor Strange made its first appearance on the big screen in 2016 and immediately captured the hearts of the audience. The upcoming Marvel movie directed by Sam Raimi stars Benedict in the lead role. Along with him, we will also witness Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams on the screen. The movie premiers on 6th May 2022 and will be available in 6 different languages at theatres across the country.
