MUMBAI: Bollywood’s favourite ‘Dabbang’ dude, Salman Khan was spotted showing his support for artist Rouble Nagi.

Salman Khan inaugurated a painting exhibition of the artist Rouble Nagi, at Restaurateur AD Singh’s Olive Bar and Kitchen in Bandra, on Tuesday.

The exhibition was aptly titled ‘Rhythm of Colours’, and saw a host of vivid colours and artworks on display. The art was more abstract based and there were theme based pieces as well.

Salman came out in full support of the lady, and was heard praising the artist eloquently. He said: “I like the paintings very much. I like her murals very much, and in fact, I have some of her paintings. My sister has got her murals; she is really good at what she does. I really like her work and especially this collection; it is her best work. Her style is totally different from my style. I do different kind of work and she does absolutely different work. I don’t understand abstract, but this is the first time that I have seen abstract and it makes sense.”

Salman is known to be a painter himself, and has been appreciated for his soul-stirring ‘Being Human’ series. Over the past few years, we have seen this intellectual and artistic side of Khan, and some of his works have even been transposed onto his line of clothes ‘Being Human’.

Spotted at the exhibit, we saw Salman in a relaxed, casual look. He was seen sporting a light blue fitted shirt to show off those muscles, and dark blue slacks. Our cameramen also spotted other celebrities, including Ashmit Patel with his mother and Rohit Roy with his wife.

Nagi has exhibited her paintings at several art shows across India, with murals being her specialty.
