MUMBAI: Our photographers spotted the gorgeous Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri at the launch of Titan ‘Raga Cities’ collection at the ‘World of Titan’ store in Bandra, Mumbai, on Wednesday.
The leggy lass who made her debut into Bollywood last year in ‘Rockstar’ opposite Ranbir Kapoor, hasn’t been seen in any more feature films yet.
Even though it is actress Katrina Kaif who is the official brand ambassador for Titan’s ‘Raga’ range of watches, Nargis stepped in to launch their ‘Raga Cities’ collection.
Adding to our confusion, a representative of Titan said, “Yes, Katrina is certainly our brand ambassador for ‘Raga’. But we have Nargis, such a pretty woman from across the shore, I’m told she has lived most of her life in New York. She has graced this occasion, to help us unveil this specific Raga ‘Cities’ collection.”
Nargis commented, “I love Titan as a brand! They have beautiful watches! Every year, they come out with an amazing collection, and this year, it is the ‘Raga Cities’ collection!”
Describing the watch she was wearing, Nargis said, “It is inspired by my favorite cities: Paris and Venice. I have been to Paris, it is the most romantic and beautiful place in the world. This watch is so lovely, feminine, sensual and ladylike. It is finely crafted with mother of pearl and Swarovski.”
Interestingly, in Katrina Kaif’s latest TV Commercial for Titan, she is shown flaunting the SAME watch!
“This watch can be an amazing gift,” added Nargis.
So then whom would you gift it to?
“Well,” laughed the 33 year old, “Katrina should have all the watches already! So I’d gift it to who ever’s birthday is next – Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya?”
