MUMBAI: James Bond fever has travelled all across the globe, and has gripped our very own Bollywood as well. The British secret agent has arrived in Mumbai!
The premiere and screening of Daniel Craig’s latest outing as ‘James Bond’, ‘Skyfall’, was held in a grand fashion, befitting the stature of the film in question. At PVR Cinemas, the latest Bond flick was released to a star-studded premiere, where our very own B’town celebrities shone on the red carpet.
The global franchise has many takers in India as well, and with the film completing 50 years of ‘James Bond’, there could not have been a more fitting way to celebrate the event. Our shutterbugs spotted pretty B’town ladies like Sameera Reddy, Sonam Kapoor, and Minissha Lamba. Parineeti Chopra, and Dia Mirza are also reported to have shown up.
2010 film Aisha’s male leads Arunoday Singh and Cyrus Sahukar too turned up, and were seen indulging in some male bonding over the action flick. Directors Madhur Bhandarkar and Ashutosh Gowariker were also present, enjoying the slick action movie over popcorn and soft drinks.
Bollywood’s latest import to Hollywood, Anil Kapoor came in too, and looked dapper and fitter than ever in a black suit. The ‘Slumdog Millionnaire’ and ‘24’ star was seen catching up with his friends and enjoying the latest ‘007’ offering.
All in all, it was a fun-filled evening amongst friends, where Bollywood celebs let their hair down in style. ‘Skyfall’ releases on November 1st, 2012.
