MUMBAI: Farhan Akhtar is probably the biggest daredevil we have in Bollywood. His daredevil stunts were on full display when he filmed the avant garde boy-bonding film ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’
And this time around too, Farhan proved just who is ‘boss’ when it comes to aerial stunts. The super talented actor-producer-director-singer and writer was in Aamby Valley recently, to launch the daring sport of skydiving near Lonavla. This is a one-of-a-kind chance for adventure enthusiasts in the country to experience world-class sporting facilities and adventure sports like skydiving.
The filmmaker spoke at a press conference in the beautiful city of Aamby Valley. Farhan revealed that this project is extremely dear to him, and he is happy that it will give adventure enthusiasts the exclusive opportunity to sky dive with the internationally acclaimed Sky Diving Art of Extreme crew from Spain. This crew includes Mr. Wolfgang Rausch and Barbara Holzer, who were expert trainers to the cast of ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’.
Farhan looked cool as a cucumber, with a black tee and sunglasses to shade him from the fierce winter sun. His hair tied up in a ponytail, Farhan looked ready to run a marathon a la his ‘Bhaag Milkha Bhaag’ style. The actor will be seen next in the biopic based on Milkha Singh’s life, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra.
Farhan also spoke about how the two month long skydiving project at Aamby Valley, will offer adventure seekers an experience of a full skydive without prior training while being securely attached to the front of a Tandem Master. Participants can enjoy the thrill from flying up, freefalling, parachute ride to landing. This will certainly become a hotspot for all adventure junkies, in the months to come, no small thanks to Farhan Akhtar!
