Eros Entertainment recently released a very entertaining video, showing fans the making of the Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Fevicol Se’ from upcoming Bollywood film ‘Dabangg 2’, starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
The raw footage gives Salman Khan and ‘Dabangg’ franchise lovers a good, candid look into the making of what Kareena Kapoor calls ‘The song of the year’.
It starts off with Salman in his Chulbul Pandey attire – a red shirt and the trademark sharp moustache, explaining the setup of the item number. He reveals, “Nawabo ki basti type jagah hai, Bebo (Kareena) is making a special appearance.”
Choreographer Farah Khan is seen wielding the megaphone. She has a clear vision, a firm grip on the action, and a supportive cast. Farah promises, “Kareena will dance like never before.”
The hot new Mrs. Khan in town, Kareena seems to agree. Raising her arched eyebrows high above those gorgeous eyes she says, “I don’t think I’ve ever done such movements for any song, any film, any item sequence”.
A juicy glimpse of the shooting is what you get when you watch this video. Kareena struts around casually in a huge yelllow shirt and a blue-lungi type lehenga, her hair in rollers to get the perfect look.
She still looks like a million dollars.
“Uff” she goes in the song, and Farah prompts her to put in more oomph. After all they have ‘Munni Badnaam Hui’, Malaika’s hot quotient to match upto!
Farah reaffirms what we’re thinking. “We are trying our best to create a song that’s very popular. We anticipate this song will be huge craze. But it’s a pressure to deliver a super duper hit song!”
The sultry performer of the song though has no qualms. Kareena is confident of its success when she says, “Every rickshaw, every taxi, every night club, every bar … will hear this song.”
Salman too, reassured by the adoration of his billions of fans, has a ball while shooting the song. While his ‘sallu moves’ are being innovated, real life and reel life brother Arbaaz Khan, who plays ‘makkhi’ in the film jumps into the scene. He has his own interpretation to the choreography, but every one agrees its comical.
Kareena meanwhile has a laugh on an altogether different topic. She finds the accent of the words in the song very hilarious. But her favorite lines are, “Main to tandoori murgi hoon yaar ghatkaler saiyyan alcohol se!”
