MUMBAI: It seems like Former Miss World and Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is gearing up for a comeback after the pregnancy hiatus she took.
A source close to the Bachchans shared that the actress has started working out and began to shed all the added kilos.
“She has resumed her regular yoga sessions. She was never known to be a person who would work out in a gym. She prefers yoga. She is also doing a bit of functional training at home.”
The source adds, “She is clearly enjoying motherhood, which is her top priority. So she didn’t want to take up any work, contrary to the reports. Now, with Aaradhya over a year old, she can start thinking of resuming work.”
We hear Aishwarya is now in talks with two filmmakers: Mani Ratnam for his adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s classic novel, ‘Rebecca’, and Karan Johar for his remake of Hrishikesh Mukherjee’s 1982 film ‘Bemisal’ then starring Amitabh Bachchan.
An insider reveals, “But, nothing has been finalized yet. If things work out with these two offers, she is likely to be back in the studios by mid-2013.”
With little Aaradhya having turned 14 months old now the protective mother Aishwarya currently drops off the baby at grandmother Vrinda Rai’s home in suburban Bandra, while shooting at Mehboob Studios.
