MUMBAI: Preity Zinta has become quite the multi-tasker these days. Juggling the hectic promotions of her upcoming production ‘Ishkq in Paris’, which is all set to release this month, and her commitments towards her IPL T20 team Kings XI Punjab, it sure seems like the dimpled Bollywood beauty has her hands full right now.
Spotted at a promotional event for ‘Ishkq in Paris’, along with her lead actor Rrehan Malliek, Preity looked fresh as a daisy in lime green top and jeans. Sophie Choudry was also seen at the event.
Preity takes her commitments to her cricket team very seriously, and is present for nearly all of the matches. Said an excited Ms Zinta: “Since I am not good with the bat, I like to go all out as a cheerleader.”
Elaborating on her career choices, Preity surmised, “I took up T20 cricket as a challenge. There’s a lot of work that goes in and I have had my hands full.”
Brushing aside all doubts about the fate of ‘Ishkq in Paris’, which got delayed for nearly six months, Preity categorically points out: “‘Talaash’ got delayed but it still did well. Our film has been postponed by only six months. It won’t change anything.”
Preity signs off with: “It’s a contemporary story, a romcom that will appeal to all age groups. I think I am much more sorted in life. But having said that, I know art imitates life and I have been inspired by incidents from my life while writing the film,” she smiles.
