MUMBAI: Bollywood’s reigning superstar, Shah Rukh Khan, who had undergone shoulder surgery for his left shoulder injury, is now recuperating in Lilavati hospital in Mumbai. His doctor has said that the surgery was successful.
Dr Sanjay Desai, who operated on SRK, said that the surgery was successful, and began at 2 pm and ended at around 3:15 pm.
Adding about his present condition, Dr. Desai said, “His surgery is successful; will need to rest for two months & will be discharged in 2-3 days.”
He added that it would take nearly 3 months for Shah Rukh to go back to his normal shooting routine.
A source close to the actor added, “He is doing fine and will be discharged in one-two days. He has been advised not to any heavy action.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s close ally Mushtaq Shiekh even tweeted about the star’s surgery, “#GoodNews For everyone who is asking & sending in prayers & wishes for @iamsrk SRK’s surgery has been successfully completed. #Duas #SRK”
In his time of need, the entire Khan family rallied around their man. SRK’s son Aryan flew down from London, where he has been studying, to be by his dad’s side. Wife Gauri Khan and daughter Suhana were also at the hospital.
