MUMBAI: Sooraj Barjatya, who directed the hits of the 90’s like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ and the dud ‘Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon’ marks his comeback to Bollywood after 8 years. And he has casted none other than Salman Khan for his new venture.
Salman Khan is currently shooting for brother Sohail Khan’s ‘Mental’. His other projects include Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Kick’ and Boney Kapoor’s sequel to ‘No Entry’ titled ‘No Entry Mein Entry’.
The actor has requested Boney Kapoor to adjust his dates for the ‘No Entry’ sequel and will now shoot for Sooraj Barjatya’s film after wrapping up ‘Kick’.
Boney Kapoor has agreed to adjust the dates for Salman Khan and his film ‘No Entry Mein Entry’ will now go on floors early next year. “Yes, I have postponed my film on Salman’s request,” he said.
A source close to Boney Kapoor says, “Sooraj Barjatya has not directed a film since 8 years, and it will be great to see him making a powerful comeback with Salman Khan on board.”
There were reports that Sooraj Barjatya’s new film is titled ‘Bade Bhaiya’. We wonder if it is the same script, or will we see Prem aka Salman Khan in something new. It would be interesting to see if Mohnish Bahl who has played the actual ‘bade bhaiya’ to Salman Khan in many of Sooraj Barjatya’s hit films, will be a part of this as well.
