MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan has been an active person on social networking site Twitter, and now he has shown his angry side as well.
Yesterday, a yet-unidentified person uploaded a video on Youtube through an account called ‘Jitega Bharat’. The video had Amitabh Bachchan’s voiceover juxtaposed over visuals in such a way that it seemed he was endorsing Narendra Modi as the next Prime Minister of India.
This did not go down well with Amitabh Bachchan who has, apparently, not endorsed anyone for the Prime Minister’s post.
The superstar took to Twitter and posted a series of tweets where he called out the video for its fake nature. That’s not all. His fans joined in the chorus too.
T 1130 -FAKE !! FAKE !! FAKE !!! APPALLED AND ANGERED BY THIS ILLEGAL ACT ON ME .. PUTTING IT UP NOW, DO READ AND SEE AND CONDEMN .. !!!

As per his tweets, Amitabh Bachchan had notified his digital team to take down the video and find the perpetrator. According to him, the voice is from a campaign he had recorded for a leading newspaper in 2007. The perpetrator ripped his voice and text from the video, interspersed it with visuals of Narendra Modi and Gujarat so as to give the impression that Amitabh Bachchan had campaigned for him. Coincidentally, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi, himself came out against the perpetrator.
Agree with @SrBachchan . The author of the fake video should take action immediately and apologize to Amitabh ji.

The video by Jitega Bharat has since been taken down and the account has been suspended.
