MUMBAI: There’s no stopping this juggernaut. (Read story here) And now, left to its own, it is just creating newer records.
In its third week at the box office, the film collected about Rs 174.6 million (Rs 17.46 crore) net. In comparison, most films tend to earn that much in their first week, so this is a very good number.
The total collection now stands, at the end of the third week, at Rs 2.15 billion (Rs 215.6 crore). ‘Chennai Express’ completely demolished ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’. On the other hand, ‘Madras Cafe’ did well within its budget.
With the big-banner ‘Satyagraha’ releasing this week, it is to be seen whether Shah Rukh Khan continues his money-making for another week.
