Ali Faisal, who came to Mumbai from Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh after attended The Doon School in Dehra Dun where he developed his passion for theater has finally arrived.
While attending one of Ali Faisal‘s on stage performances, Rajkumar Hirani took notice of this talented actor and cast him in 3 Idiots, in which he essayed the character of Joy. His death in the film marked the catalyst of change in the film.
Post this, Ali was seen in films like Always Kabhi Kabhi and Baat Ban Gayi, but then it was Fukrey that everyone took notice of him.
Today, he has projects like Murder 4 and Bobby Jasoos in his kitty. Well if this was not all, Ali Faisal has been roped in for Hollywood’s popular franchise Fast And Furious.
Fast And Furious 7 is directed by James Wan and will also star Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Kurt Russell and many others. He has already shot a few scenes with the cast and will be joining them soon
Coming to Bobby Jasoos, Ali Faisal plays Vidya Balan‘s love interest and says that there was no awkwardness while working with the actress and that he was very comfortable working with her.
“She is easy going and there was no awkwardness that she was married and such a senior actress. Maybe it was because of the workshops that we did together before we started shooting,” so stated Ali Faisal.
Ali will also be seen in a song and dance sequence with Vidya and reveals that, “There is a lot more than what you have seen in the trailer”.
Directed by Samar Shaikh and produced by Dia Mirza and Sahil Sangha, Bobby Jasoos is set to hit the screens on July 04, 2014.
