MUMBAI: The most awaited event of the year, the grand Annual 58th Idea Filmfare Awards, had the who’s who of Bollywood gathered at Yash Raj Studios, dressed to impress.

We spotted the actor brigade – Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Manoj Bajpayee, Arjun Kapoor, Sahil Sangha, Ali Zafar to Ramesh Sippy, Boney Kapoor, Anu Malik, Siddharth Malhotra, Marc Robinson, Bhushan Kumar and Siddharth Roy Kapur all dressed in various shades of black.

The ladies put their most fashionable foot forward: While Bollywood’s latest ‘Barfi!’ import Ileana D’Cruz carried a gorgeous golden Cavalli, Priyanka Chopra carried a sea-blue Armani gown.

Forever young Sridevi arrived in an orange gown and Madhuri Dixit sported a blue Alberto Makali gown. Alia Bhatt chose a traditional (but backless!) Manish Malhotra creation. Anushka Sharma in her bright yellow gown looked extremely skinny.

The list went on as Vidya Balan dressed up in her usual Sabyasachi Mukherjee saree. Rekha too stuck to her traditional trademark of a golden sari.

Shahrukh Khan and Saif Ali Khan, the co-hosts of the evening brought back their ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ magic. SRK celebrated Hindi Film Industry’s 100 glorious year’s with his own special performance. His ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ co-star Anushka Sharma bewitched by paying a tribute to the actresses of the Golden Era.

The awards were classified in three sections, the popular awards, the critics awards and the technical awards. Not surprisingly, ‘Barfi!’, ‘Kahaani’ and ‘Gangs Of Wasseypur’ reigned supreme!
