MUMBAI: Last year one saw Aamir Khan starrer Taare Zameen Par and Akshay Kumar’s Welcome being released around Christmas holidays. This year too, the actors are all set to maintain their dates at the box office.
25 December will see Khan’s Ghajini and Kumar’s Jumbo being released.
Last year, Taare Zameen Par and Welcome released on 21 December, four days before Christmas.
This time round, the actors will be seen in completely diversified genres of films from that of last year’s. While Ghajini is an action thriller, Jumbo is an animation film that has voiceover by Kumar. The diversity is theme and genre is likely to work in favour of the two movies at box office since both cater to a different set of audiences.
