MUMBAI: ‘Bombay Talkies’ – the joint venture of four of the most popular Bollywood filmmakers, has gotten even more special. Superstar Aamir Khan has been roped in for a special segment in the film.
The anthology film consists of four short stories by Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, Karan Johar and Dibakar Banerjee.
Aamir Khan is apparently shooting for a special segment in the film. While there hasn’t been an official announcement yet, our sources suggest that the makers took a last minute decision to cast Khan in the film.
Says the source, “Aamir has just completed his shoot schedule in Switzerland for ‘Dhoom 3’. After returning back to Mumbai he has already begun shooting for the special segment for ‘Bombay Talkies’ at Mehboob studios.”
‘Bombay Talkies’ featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Randeep Hooda, Saqib Saleem, Katrina Kaif, Sadashiv Amrapurkar and Nawazuddin Siddiqui is set to hit the screens on May 3, 2013.
