He will be seen as a village inspector in the movie. Babbar says, "I am extremely excited that am shooting for Tees Maar Khan as it’s my first time at comedy and being directed by none other than Farah Khan. It’s a great feeling with Tees Maar Khan as I am trying different genres and this definitely is going to be a step ahead in my career. Farah is a chilled out and a complete actor’s director. All in all she is an absolute delight to work with."
Babbar was recently seen in the Neil Nitin Mukesh starrer Jail, which was directed by Madhur Bhandarkar. "Talking about Jail, it’s funny that there I played a jail convict and in Tees Maar Khan I play an inspector… life has its own screenplay I say," he said.
