Abhishek Bachchan heads to Goa to shoot for Dum Maaro Dum

MUMBAI: It is destination Goa for the next fortnight as Abhishek Bachchan starts shooting for Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum. Friends first and then colleagues, the duo will start their third film together after films like Kuchh Na Kaho and Bluffmaster.

Dum Maaro Dum is being co-produced by Ramesh Sippy Productions and Fox Star Studios India. 

It has been hectic for the junior Bachchan. The start of the year saw him start shooting for Abhinay Deo’s Crooked now titled Game, and then for his first show on television, Bingo. Talk to him about the show’s high ratings and he retorts, "Did you like the show?" But the actor is certainly pleased that his debut has been well received.

Rohan Sippy’s latest film features Bipasha Basu in a key role. Rohan however clarifies, "Abhishek and Bipasha have not been cast opposite each other." Other details of the film are still being kept under wraps, but we are told that Basu has experimented with her looks and make up for her character.

The unit will wrap its Goa schedule by mid April. Basu, who started shooting for the film a fortnight earlier than Bachchan will depart for Mumbai on 1 April, while Bachchan will continue till 5 April.
