Mumbai: At a conference held on Wednesday evening, Adlabs and Baweja Movies unveiled the first look of Love Story 2050 starring debutant Harman Baweja and Priyanka Chopra. The movie is directed and produced by Harry Baweja.
The one minute teaser of the film gives a sci-fi glimpse into the year 2050 with cars flying in the sky, robots and everything driven by technology. It’s a graphic treat with Hollywood standards in a Bollywood film. This trailer will be showcased with the release of Race.
"Since we have people from Hollywood working on the visual effects of the film, we have been successful in achieving a stylized and authentic look of the film," says Baweja.
"When we started out the budget and visual effects were the main hurdles for the film because the budget was enormously high for a newcomer’s film and the VFX could only be done overseas, again at a high cost," recalls Baweja. The total cost of prost production for the film is close to a sum of Rs 8- 10 crore.
The post production and visual effects have been worked upon by WETA (Lord of the Rings trilogy, King Kong), John Cox, Rising Sun Pictures (Harry Potter Series and Superman Returns) and Prime Focus. The publicity of the film has been designed by Marching Ants.
The film also stars Boman Irani, Archana Pooransingh, Dalip Tahil, and Shishir Saxena. The music of the film has been given by Anu Malik with lyrics by Javed Akhtar.
The movie will release on 4 July.
