The actress who recently wrapped up shoot of her next south venture will now join Abhishek Bachchan in Amritsar to begin the shoot for Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyan. Now adding another feather to her hat, the actress has been bestowed with the title of the 2nd most fastest growing actress in Bollywood. In an online report published by Ormax Media which is widely acknowledged as the pioneers of film research in India, Taapsee Pannu, Alia Bhatt and Anushka Sharma made it to the top 3 growing actresses of Bollywood. With Alia coming first, Taapsee inched second followed by Anushka in the report.
Taapsee started her journey in Bollywood very recently and seeing her growth every year with each film of hers is very impressive. She has some amazing line ups this year and at that pace, it’s not surprising that she is topping the charts in Ormax next listing.
Speaking about it, Taapsee said, “2016 and 2017 have been amazing for me. Where 2016 helped me get a place in my audience’s heart with Pink, 2017 helped the film industry take up notice with Naam Shabana n judwaa 2. Now I do feel a sense of responsibility as there are expectations attached and I do enjoy that feeling when my audience expects something out of me. For someone like me who came from no family support in the film industry , no Multi film deals with studios nor any godfather to fall back on, wherever I am today is because of my audience and that’s what pushes me to get better n better”.
