Bollywood super star Amitabh Bachchan stars with bollywood diva Rekha, in their upcoming movie Shamitabh. However the two stars don’t share the same screen space in the movie.
During the trailer launch yesterday, Amitabh Bachchan told reporters, “We don’t actually come together, it’s part of the sequence and when you see the film, you will understand how it’s portrayed. But, yes it’s always great welcome to have such great luminaries in the film,”

He also added that, “R Balki wants to make a movie with me and Rekha. “Balki keeps threatening me that he wants to design a film together… Let me see if someone has a story, which is appropriate… then why not.

Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha are considered the best pair on screen in Bollywood. Previously, the two have starred together in films like Silsila, Mr Natwarlal, Muqaddar Ka Sikandar and will be seen next in R Balki’s Shamitabh.
During the trailer launch Amitabh also shared some movie moments he had during his shooting.
Shamitabh also stars south superstar Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, youngest daughter of actor Kamal Haasan. It is the first debut movie of Akshara.
