Anil Kapoor gave the festival of colour a miss this year, as he was busy shooting for 24 Season 2 in Dubai.
Anil Kapoor, who starred the Indian version of the American drama series 24, last year, is currently busy planning to start shooting for the second leg of the series.
Anil Kapoor tweeted, “Missing my Home, missing Mumbai and missing India. Wishing all of you guys a very Happy Holi from Dubai.”
Anil Kapoor was earlier shooting for Welcome Back with John Abraham, Nana Patekar and Shruti Haasan in Dubai.
Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor’s daughters Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor missed their father and replied to his tweet saying, “Miss you too Dad.”
Apparently, Anil Kapoor has six major film offers this year, but then he has given priority to 24 instead.
“My entire team is into pre-production. Only my own dates need to be worked out. I am in a bit of a fix. There are quite a number of tempting film offers. But I haven’t said yes to them as yet. I need to work out my dates for 24 Season 2. That’s a commitment I have made to myself. As a film star, well I have seen it and done it all. Television is a new medium for me. And it’s very exciting.” stated a very upbeat Anil when asked about 24 Season 2.
Anil Kapoor has Anees Bazmee‘s Welcome Back as his solo release for year 2014. According to Anil, 24 Season 1 was tougher with the entire machinery and logistics of television was new to him. He feels that the production hassles would be automatically lessened during Season 2.
Anil Kapoor, Tisca Chopra and Mandira Bedi would most definitely be there in 24 Season 2. Rishi Kapoor and Jeetendra are also likely to join them this season. 24 Season 2 is expected to go on air in September/October 2014.
