We very recently saw Anushka Sharma in her home production film NH10, which was directed by Navdeep Singh. The film proved to be a huge success at the Box Office. The recent buzz suggest that Anushka Sharma and Navdeep Singh might actually team up again. Yes, according to reports, Navdeep is working on his next film, which will be produced by Anushka‘s production company named Clean Slate Films.

Apparently, the filmmaker has two scripts prepared and soon one of them will go on floors. The film happens to be a thriller gangster drama and Navdeep‘s choice for the lead in the film is none other than Anushka Sharma. The film titled as Cannada, revolves around a Punjabi family set in Canada. The filmmaker thinks that Bombay Velvet actress, Anushka will do justice to the lead character of the film, as it is a strong female character. Reports further suggest that the director has already showed the script to Anushka and what more? the actress loved the story. Yes, Anushka read the script and loved it. However, the actress is yet to give her nod.

Navdeep Singh expressed that he would love her to get on board and be a part of the film but NH10 star Anushka is little hesitant on starring in Cannada, as she doesn’t want to star in all the films produced by her own production house.
