The award-winning director is planning to head to the North Pole to film the northern lights for his next project.

While Indian cinema hasn’t scaled such great heights, several foreign films have managed to capture the vast Arctic locales on celluloid.

Anand Gandhi wanted to incorporate the visuals of Northern Lights in ‘Ship Of Theseus’, but it could not be incorporated into the film’s idea.

The director plans to work on the project in a year’s time. “A lot of logistics need to be in place, before I take my crew there. Ill soon be working on a story wherein North Pole’s geography is essential to the crux of the story. It will be a magical experience to watch it on canvas”, says the director.

It will be interesting to see if Aamir Khan will support or be a part of the project. Especially when the director has always expressed his desire to work with the perfectionist and even Aamir Khan has expressed his desire. (Read STORY).
