Mumbai: Arena Animation in collaboration with Asian Institute of Communication & Research (AICAR) has launched a Post Graduate program in animation.
The 18-month residential Postgraduate program in animation is designed in collaboration with the University of the West of England (UWE), UK and validated by animation professionals. It covers commercial aspects of animation, visual culture and communication, and research methodology, and includes a 3-month studio internship at an animation house or production house of repute.
Besides the expertise provided by UWE, a student would have the opportunity to progress to UWE, UK to complete two additional modules spanning nine months and receive an MA Media (animation) from UWE.

The Postgraduate program in animation gives the opportunity to a talent to pursue higher grounds of learning in animation through research and training.
This program would be conducted at a World-class Residential Institute, Asian Institute of Communication & Research (AICAR), a 30-acre campus at Neral, Maharashtra.
The students of the Postgraduate program would have access to state-of-the-art Studio facilities at AICAR along with a faculty of practicing artists, animators, and academicians of national and international standing.
The in-house studio consists of art studio, 2D animation lab, digital lab, media center & library, green screen hall & acting area, motion capture studio, sound recording room, video editing suites, screening room and seminar hall.
