Arjun Rampal not a part of Farhan Akhtar’s Don 2

MUMBAI: Farhan Akhtar’s Don starring Shah Rukh Khan, which released in 2006, saw Arjun Rampal coming of age as an actor. However, the sequel of the film, which is slated to go on floor later this year, will not feature Rampal.

Rampal wrote on his Twitter page, "Hey Guys, Yes it is true won’t be part of Don 2. Wish the team all the success I am sure it will be a super film."

Don 2 will see Shah Rukh Khan reprising the title role and will also star Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Om Puri. It will be produced under Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani’s banner Excel Entertainment. As was earlier reported by Businessofcinema.com, Don 2 will be shot in various European locales such as London, Germany and Ireland amongst others.

Rampal, on the other hand, will next be seen in Dharma Productions’ We Are Family along with Kajol and Kareena Kapoor. He also stars in SRK’s ambitious superhero project – Ra.One, which is directed by Anubhav Sinha.
