MUMBAI: The media has been speculating over Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s first new born since her birth in November 2011. And the Bachchan family has been equally protective about the little girl, taking extreme steps to keep prying eyes away.
However, little nuggets of information keep coming through – the latest being that the little one has had her ears pierced. During an event in Delhi, grandmother Jaya Bachchan revealed to Nandita Das, current chairperson of the Children’s Film Society of India, that Aaradhya had her ears pierced just that day.
She reportedly shared with Nandita that Aishwarya is a very pro-active, hands-on mother. “Aishwarya is sometimes overcautious. Aaradhya is not intimidated to faces. She is beautiful. I call her Strawberry because when she was born she reminded me of a strawberry. She is always smiling. Touchwood. Now she’s trying to crawl and it’s special to us,” she said. She also shared that both Aishwarya and Aaradhya are healthy and doing well.
