MUMBAI: Reliance BIG Entertainment has appointed Anand Singh as sales head – movie campaigns for BIG Online Network, which includes BIGFlix.com, BIGADDA.com, Zapak.com and BIGOYE.com.
Singh will spearhead deals with movie production houses to provide a 360 degree campaign across these network sites. He will be based out of Mumbai and will report to BIGFlix.com business head – Video-on-Demand Murtuza Kagalwala.
Singh added, "I am all charged to spearhead this initiative amongst the Bollywood space. With a large entertainment platform reaching huge number of audiences in a Bollywood obsessed country, it will definitely be an interesting challenge to create a niche for movie promotions. The group has aggressive plans marked out and we will soon have a couple of deals closed with a few Bollywood films in the industry."
Singh brings with him a total of 12 years of experience with a mix of sales and marketing, online sales, brand management, strategy and business development. Prior to joining BIG Online Network, he worked with Havas Entertainment as business director. He has also had prior stints with Medianet – Times Group, Spear Publishing, JAM Ventures, Kid Stuff promotions and Jasubhai Digital Media.
