Billboard Music Awards 2016: The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber Lead Nominations!

For those who you don’t what this is, here is a brief introduction. Billboard magazine is best known for publishing music charts, including the Billboard Hot 100 singles and Billboard 200 albums.

Billboard released the final list of nominations for the upcoming awards night on Monday, April 11, 2016. The nomination special was hosted by Ludacris and Ciara who took over BBMA’s Periscope to announce the nominees.

The nomination list has some of the big names from the music industry. The Weeknd who made it big last year with his smash hit album is leading the list with 16 nominations. The singer is followed by fellow Canadian singer Justin Bieber who managed to bag 11 nominations while Taylor Swift and Adele managed to bag 8 nominations each. Selena Gomez also managed to bag 2 nominations.

This has excited the fans and also the artists. BillBoard Music Awards 2016 will take place on May 22, 2016, in Las Vegas. The show will be hosted by Ludacris and Ciara.
