Billboard Music Awards Best Moments: Wiz Khalifa’s Tribute To Paul Walker

The Billboard Music Awards 2015 that took place on May 17th at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas was a grand night to be remembered. While talented artists across genres took away the awards, the night saw some amazing performances touching everyone’s soul through the art of music. One of such performance was by rapper Wiz Khalifa who recently gave tribute to the late actor Paul Walker from Fast and Furious fame.

Wiz Khalifa, Lindsey Stirling and singer Charlie Puth performed their super hit song ‘See You Again’ that they made as a tribute to a great actor that the world lost too soon. The recently released seventh edition of the Fast and Furious series, Furious 7, was the last film ever done by Paul Walker and to reminisce the moment and pay him homage, Khalifa gave a heart warming performance at the Billboard Awards. For which he received a standing ovation from the audience full of musicians, actors and other personalities.

Rapper turned actor Ludacris who hosted the show got emotional during the performance remembering his dear friend Paul Walker. The duo has worked together for the Fast and Furious series and their friendship speaks beyond words. Paul Walker died in November 2013 due to a car crash. The incident shook the entire world as fans, friends and family of the actor mourned his loss.

Other performances of the night were given by artists Taylor Swift, Mariah Carey, Britney Spears and rapper Iggy Azalea, rapper Kanye West, Ed Sheeran, Hozier, Pitbull, Chris Brown, Imagine Dragons, Nick Jonas and also the duo by John Legend and Meghan Trainor who set the stage on fire with their song ‘Like I’m Gonna Lose You’.
