Bollywood Celebrities At The Swearing Ceremony Of Narendra Modi

bollywood Celebrities CoverBollywood celebrities along with politicians were invited to take notice of India’s historic event when Mr Narendra Modi was sworned in as our new PM. For the first time in history 3000 invites were sent by Mr Modi to celebs and people from distinguished fields to witness this consequential ceremony.

Mr Modi has been earning huge fan following from our very own Bollywood celebrities, many of them have supported NaMo openly, while others were campaigning for him. Mr Modi sent invites to some of Bollywood’s biggest personalities, who have definitely made a mark in their respective fields. Legendery superstar Amitabh Bachchan and India’s megastar, the demi-God of South, Rajnikanth were also keenly invited for this auspicious ceremony. Lata Mangeshkar, the nightingale of India too was sent an invite to witness this historic day.

The ceremony took place in Rashtrapati Bhavan. Salman Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Sohail Khan and Salim Khan were few celebs who made their presence felt at the event. Apart from them Anupam Kher, Madhur Bhandrakar, Hema Malini and Kirron Kher too made their appearance at the event.

Amitabh Bachchan who has been the prominent brand ambassador for Gujarat Tourism, certainly gave us a shock when the shutterbugs could not see him at the event. Mr Modi has always been in praise of Big B and it was quite natural to see the Shahenshah of Bollywood to be part of the prestigious ceremony.

Rajnikanth, too was not seen at the event due to some unknown reasons, although the superstar’s support to NaMo was apparent and it was quite expected that he would make his presence felt at the historic event.

Nevertheless, we hope to see that Bollywood celebrities who skipped Mr Modi‘s oath taking ceremony would somehow find their ways to compensate, but their presence would have added that extra touch to an already glamorous ceremony.
