Boney Kapoor to release Wanted on 3 July; 2 more to follow


    MUMBAI: Boney Kapoor’s film Wanted directed by Prabhudeva is in its post production stage and is being readied for release on 3 July, 2009.

    Music duo Salim Suleman have finished recording the background music for the film, which has music by Sajid – Wajid.

    The movie stars Salman Khan, Ayesha Takia Azmi, Vinod Khanna, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mehak and South actor Prakash Raja. Khan is currently dubbing for the film while the other actors have finished dubbing for the same.

    Wanted is a remake of the regional film Pokhri and is Prabhudeva’s first directorial venture in the Hindi film industry. The film is shot at locations such as Greece, Bangkok, Chennai, Hyderabad, Panvel and Mumbai.

    Kapoor is also looking at releasing two more films namely – Anees Bazmee It’s My Life and Satish Kaushik’s Milenge Milenge this year.

    Bazmee directed It’s My Life is a family drama revolving around the principal characters essayed by Nana Patekar, Genilia D’Souza and Hurman S Baweja. The film is based in Delhi and is also shot in different locations of New Zealand and Bangkok. The shooting of the film is complete with its last shooting schedule held in and around Delhi in February 2009. The film is presented by Boney Kapoor, produced by Sanjay Kapoor and has music by Shankar Ehsan Loy. The film is scheduled for release in August – September this year.

    The Shahid Kapur and Kareena Kapoor starrer Milenge Milenge directed by Kaushik has been in the cans for a few years now. The music of the film is by Himesh Reshammiya. The background score is by Sunjoy Chowdary. The release date of the film has not yet been finalised.

    Boney Kapoor has partnered with Sahara One Motion Pictures for a slate of five films, which include Wanted, It’s My Life, sequel of No Entry and Mr India along with a fifth film.
