Hrithik Roshan–Pooja Hegde starrer Mohenjo Daro reached Rs 30 crore net approx. (Rs 300 million) on it’s first weekend. Monday being a holiday due to Independence Day, the film could not gather much crowd, it dropped around 15-20% from the previous day.

On it’s first day the film collected Rs 8.75 crore net approx. (Rs 87 million), on second day (Saturday) Rs 9.50 crore net approx. (95 million), on third day Sunday the film collected Rs 12 crore net approx. (120 million), on it’s first Monday the film collected Rs 10.10 crore net approx. The film has not done so bad. The total collection of the film is Rs 40.10 crore net approx (Rs 401 million)

For Rustom, the drop on Independence day was around 10% from the Sunday collection which is excellent. The film had a good first weekend of Rs 50 crore nett approx. On it’s first day the film collected Rs 14 crore net approx. (Rs 140 million), on second day (Saturday) Rs 16.25 crore net approx. (162 million), on third day Sunday the film collected Rs 19.50 crore net approx. (195 million), on it’s first Monday the film collected Rs 17.75 crore net approx. (177 million). The film has done well. The total collection of the film is Rs 67.50 crore net approx (Rs 675 million)
The partial holidays in the next few days will bump up the collections a little and then there is not much competition in the second week and it has to take advantage of that.
