BOX OFFICE: ‘Jolly LLB’ Holds Fort Through Two Weeks

Fox Star Studios’ ‘Jolly LLB’ directed by Subhash Kapoor, starring Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Amrita Rao, has surprised everyone by scraping through with a decent 2 week total.

MUMBAI: Subhash Kapoor‘s ‘Jolly LLB’ starring Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Saurabh Shukla and Amrita Rao, has surprised everyone by holding fort through two weeks at the box office.

Though ‘Jolly LLB’ commenced it’s box office journey on a nondescript, average note, the film has managed to garner a decent 2 week total of approximately Rs 297.2 million (27.92 crore) net.

As reported, the 10 day total of ‘Jolly LLB’ was fairly average, close to Rs 234 million (Rs 23.40 crore) net.

On Day 1, ‘Jolly LLB’ opened with average collections in the range of approximately Rs 31 million (Rs 3.10 crore) net. The weekend saw a slight pick-up, with the three day total of the film standing at about Rs 120 million (Rs 12 crore) net.

The first week was understandably slow, with the 5 day total of the film approximately in the range of Rs 155.5 million (Rs 15.55 crore) net. The film picked up on Day 6 and 7 with collections of Rs 30.8 million (3.08 crore) net.

Interestingly, ‘Jolly LLB’ has survived at the box office, despite a slew of other films jostling for competition at the ticketing windows.
