MUMBAI: Directed by Rakesh Roshan, ‘Krrish 3′ starring Hrithik Roshan, Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi is off to a super-hero like beginning at the ticket counter.
Multiplexes have clocked in 80 to 85% occupancy ratio and single screens are going stronger at close to 100% occupancy. Today being an auspicious day for the country – Dhanteras, with most of the nation celebrating the festival, the evening shows of Krrish 3 may see a drop.
We spoke to PVR Senior VP Ops, Rahul Singh, who said, “‘Krrish 3’ is doing exceedingly well, in some centres, the response is overwhelming, but in others it isn’t as great as hoped. Having said that, we’re only expecting the film to pick up majorly in the coming days of extended weekend (till Tuesday), and hope that ‘Krrish 3’ will make it a cracker at the Diwali at the box office.”
Given the start, we expect good Day 1 collections for Krrish 3.
