Salman Khan’s much-talked upcoming film Tubelight is just one week away and before that, Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi-starrer Bank Chor has released this week.

Riteish Deshmukh and Vivek Oberoi-starrer Bank Chor has released at the Box Office this Friday and the film is creating a right buzz. Self-confessedly India’s STUPIDEST comic thriller has hit the right chord and is receiving a positive response from the audience. The out-and-out comedy film created a huge buzz among the audience with its unique promotional strategies. The makers of the film not only created back-to-back spoofs on the lead stars of the film but also went overboard by spoofing each and every poster of other films.

Besides promotional strategies, Riteish and Vivek’s comic timings, good sense of humour and creating a mark with every role, is something that can pull the audience to the cinema halls. But could the film hit jackpot on its first day?

The film witnessed 5-10% occupancy in the morning shows and looks like the film could not create the magic in the evening and night show. Bank Chor has done a business of Rs 1.40-1.50 crore nett on day one with Mumbai circuit doing a little better with collections of around Rs 55-60 lakhs nett. With this kind of opening, Bank Chor is going to have a tough week. However, the film has no value after a week as Salman Khan’s Tubelight is releasing on June 23.

On the other hand, Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium is continuing to do well at the box office. The film has collected around Rs 45 lakhs nett on its fifth Friday, taking the total collection to Rs 60 crore. The GROSS business of the film is expected to touch Rs 79 crore.

Other Bollywood film, Sushant Singh Rajput-Kriti Sano’s Raabta, which had released along with Hindi Medium, has earned around Rs 20-25 lakhs nett on its eighth day
