MUMBAI: Dharma Productions’ ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, directed by Ayan Mukherjee and starring Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kalki Koechlin has had a rollercoaster three weeks at the box office.
Steadily climbing the charts, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ dominated the box office with its near perfect dream run. Even now, after three solid weeks, the film is the undisputed leader at the box office.
As reported, the film crossed the coveted Rs 1 billion (Rs 100 crore) mark within its first week itself.
The 10 day total of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ was a good Rs 1.34 billion (Rs 134.72 crore) net approx.
At the end of its second week, light-hearted romance film stood mighty at an approximate collections of Rs 1.51 billion (Rs 151.66 crore) net.
By the third weekend, ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ managed to touch about Rs 1.68 billion (Rs 168 crore) net.
The three week (21 day) total of ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’ is in the range of a staggering Rs 1.76 billion (Rs 176.2 crore) net.
