Sachin: A Billion Dreams took a decent start and managed to earn well with each passing day since its release. With amazing first weekend at the Box Office, the biopic of the living legend has earned Rs 35 crore net (Hindi) in week one. The film has earned well in South and Mumbai.

The film is, of course, becoming the highest grossing documentary ever. Sachin: A Billion Dreams has earned big and will also recover its investment from non-theatrical sources like satellite and digital sales.
On the other hand, Irrfan Khan starrer Hindi Medium has earned Rs 7.75 crore nett in the second week, taking its lifetime collection to Rs 41 crore nett approx. (two weeks). Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Half Girlfriend, which released alongside Hindi Medium, has drastically failed at the Box Office in week two. The film has earned Rs 7 crore nett approx in the second week and this takes total two weeks business to Rs 53 crore nett approx.
Hollywood release, Pirate Of The Caribbean – Salazars Revenge had a fair week of Rs 21 crore nett. Pirate Of The Caribbean has received third best opening for Hollywood in India after Fast & Furious 8 and XXX – Return On Xander Cage.
