The first weekend business showed the collections being in favour of ‘Dilwale’ instead of ‘Bajirao Mastani’, but over the next two weekends, the tables have completely turned. Shah Rukh Khan starrer film lost momentum in Indian market due to lack of word of mouth and tough competition from competitor Ranveer Singh’s movie. Dilwale was applauded for its enigmatic star cast and locations whereas Bajirao Mastani stole away the show with its concept.
However internationally, SRK’s film did phenomenally. On the contrary, Deepika Padukone– Ranveer Singh’s film Bajirao Mastani couldn’t show any magic on the global figures but impressed the masses in India.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s painstaking film Bajirao Mastani so far collected Rs 166.50 crore net approx. (Rs 16.6 billion). On it’s fourth Friday, the film grossed around Rs 1 crore net, which is a good collection and the weekend should go to Rs 4.5 crore net plus. So the total collection as on today is Rs 167.50 crore.
While Rohit Shetty directorial entertaining film Dilwale so far collected Rs 137.23 crore net approx. (Rs 13.7 billion). On it’s fourth Friday, the film grossed around Rs 25 Lakhs net. So the total collection as on today is Rs 137.50 crore net approx.

So as on today, the difference in both the films is Rs 30 crore net approx. So we can say that Bajirao Mastani has emerged as the winner at Indian Box Office.[/tps_footer]
