Box Office: Sonam Kapoor Starrer Neerja’s Second Tuesday Collection

The film starring Sonam Kapoor in the main lead is a biopic on brave heart flight attendant Neerja Bhanot. With a successful start and positive word of mouth publicity ‘Neerja’ appeared to be one of the most successful films in the year 2016. The biopic started on a good note at the box office and also witnessed large crowds on the weekdays which helped in increasing its collections all the more.

Moreover, the film has now moved on to become tax free in the cities of Mumbai and Delhi which is further increasing its business by all means. The second week five day collection of ‘Neerja’ is Rs. 2.75 crore net approx. (Rs 27 million) on Friday, Rs. 4.75 crore net approx.(Rs 47 million)  on Saturday, Rs. 6 crore net approx. (Rs 60 million) on Sunday, Rs. 2 crore net approx., (Rs 20 million) on Monday Rs. 1.75 crore net approx. (Rs 17 million) on Tuesday. The total collection of ‘Neerja’ for the second week five day collection comes Rs. 17.25 crore net approx.

The total collection of the film till date is Rs 51.75 crore net approx. (Rs 517 million)

With no fierce competition in its way, the Sonam starrer biopic managed to attract more crowd than ever at the screens. The movie based on the incident of flight hijack is also impressing the audience for its strong plot. The brilliant execution and up to the mark reviews also worked in favor of the film.
