Box Office: Tiger Zinda Hai Second Monday Business, Hollywood Release Jumanji Earns Huge!

Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai second Monday business at the Box office. 

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Tiger Zinda Hai is continuing to do good business at the Box Office. The action-spy-thriller is earning at the ticket counter given the extended New Year weekend on Monday. The film continues its solid run even on second Monday.

Tiger Zinda Hai earns whopping Rs 17.50 crore net approx on second Monday, thus, taking the total business to Rs 272 crore net approx. The Ali Abbas Zafar directorial has emerged biggest hit of 2017, ending the year on a high note.

TZH is inspired by the real-life incident of the rescue of Indian nurses held hostage in Iraq by terrorists and at the helm of affairs of the mission is Indian RAW agent Tiger (Salman Khan). A sequel to Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai is touted as the best action film of Salman’s career.

Hollywood release ‘Jumanji – Welcome To The Jungle’ is no less and has done pretty good business at the Box Office. The film has earned around Rs 20 crore in four days. Even though with Tiger Zinda Hai running super strong parallel, Jumanji received a massive opening of around Rs 5 crore on Friday.

The original Jumanji, released in 1996, was directed by Joe Johnston and starred Robin Williams and Bonnie Hunt in the lead roles. Over two decades later it is back with the second part titled Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle.

In a brand new Jumanji adventure, four high school kids discover an old video game console and are drawn into the game’s jungle setting, literally becoming the adult avatars they chose. What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji – you must survive it. To beat the game and return to the real world, they’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, discover what Alan Parrish left 20 years ago, and change the way they think about themselves – or they’ll be stuck in the game forever, to be played by others without break.
