Aishwarya Rai Bachchan departed from Mumbai to go to Cannes Film Festival with much brouhaha,along with her daughter. It seems the she may not be able to make it in time to reach the venue. Yes, you read it right. The news coming out from sources is that Aishwarya is stuck at the London airport and before she can continue her journey further to be present at Cannes Film Festival for the red carpet.
The reason being the strike of Air Traffic Control at France, delaying her flight to Niece. The beauty products brand which the star is endorsing and has been attending the award function under has gone into overdrive to make arrangements so that Aishwarya can attend the red carpet on an alternate day.
Initially Aishwarya was to walk the red carpet on 16th and 21st of May. While the latter date remains unchanged, she may get to feature herself on the red carpet on another day to make up for the loss.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was earlier snapped by the shutterbugs at the airport while leaving for the prestigious film festival.
The blue-eyed Bollywood actress was accompanied by baby Aaradhya and mother Vrinda Rai, who in past has accompanied Ash on various occasions. Aishwarya Rai‘s brother Aditya Rai also surprised us as he too came in to see off his beautiful sister and niece Aaradhya.
Coming back to their departure, the mother-daughter duo sticked to their usual airport attire, Ash in an all black outfit while baby Aaradhya looked as adorable as ever in pink.
This year it will be Aishwarya Rai‘s 14th appearance at Cannes. The Diva’s first visit was in the year 2003, being the first Indian actress to walk to red carpet at the prestigious film festival, and ever since her debut at Cannes, the beautiful actress is seen every year illuminating the red carpet with her enduring charm.[/tps_footer]
