Day by day additional faces were being added to the list of cast featuring in the upcoming Marvel film Captain America: Civil War. The wait is finally over as Marvel has announced the entire official cast list for the film. Other than the usual faces of Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson the line up looks extraordinary.
According to the new cast list, Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War which is the sequel to 2014’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier will see actors Chris Evans (Captain America), Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Paul Bettany (The Vision), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye), Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Don Cheadle (War Machine), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Daniel Bruhl (Baron Zemo), Sebastian Stan (Winter Soldier), Emily VanCamp (Sharon Carter), Frank Gillo (Crossbones) and William Hurt (Thunderbolt Ross).
The main attraction of the film can be the appearances by Ant-Man and The Vision who have created quite some hype for their characters in a short span of time. Sherlock Holmes fame Martin Freeman has also joined the cast but his role in the film hasn’t been announced yet.
Produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Studio Motion Pictures, Joe Russo and Anthony Russo are directing Captain America: Civil War. The film is set to release on May 6, 2016. The director duo have already announced the making of the next two Avengers installments as well, whereas Avengers: Infinity War Part I will be released on May 4, 2018, and will be followed by its immediate sequel Avengers: Infinity War Part II that is set for a release on May 3, 2019.
