Backed by Steven Spielberg‘s DreamWorks and Reliance Entertainment, Tate Taylor‘s The Girl on The Train is an adaptation of Paula Hawkin‘s best seller novel of the same name.

The film, a psychological mystery thriller has majorly stuck to Paula Hawkin‘s writing, however there is a slight change that will be seen when the best seller comes to life on celluloid.

Tate Taylor the director of ‘The Girl on the Train’ has made a minute change in the film adaptation of the novel, but yet that change is very significant and will give the movie a different feel from the novel, still keeping the story intact.

The location of the film has been repositioned and changed to upstate New York instead of London where the novel was set.

The director took this call as creative liberty, in order to enhance the visual appeal of the film.

This change in the location of the mystery thriller has left many fans in anticipation for the film’s release.
