Rana Daggubati is going to be seen in the upcoming film Haathi Mere Saathi.
The South Indian actor Rana Daggubati became a national sensation. All thanks to the blockbuster film series Baahubali. The actor is going to be seen in another upcoming film called Haathi Mere Saathi.
When there were just few minutes left for us to ring into the New Year, Rana shared the first look of his film on Twitter. The poster looks very intense with the actor in a rugged look hugged by his companion, which is an elephant. Rana will play the role of Bandev in the film.
He wrote, “Entering the new year with a great new story to tell. Introducing #Bandev from #HaathiMereSaathi #HaathiMereSaathiFL.”
When it was finally the New Year, the actor wished everyone again sharing the poster as he wrote, “And now It’s officially another year!! Happy New Year!! Let’s make each day count!! Best wishes. And for the ones who missed here’s #Bandev from #HaathiMereSaathi.”

Haathi Mere Saathi is going to be directed by Prabhu Soloman. The film is said to be inspired by true life events and it will feature a strong bond between a man and an animal. Although the shoot of the film has not started yet. It will begin soon in Thailand and a part of the film will also be shot in India.
The film is going to be released in three different languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. It is expected to release in the festive season of Diwali, this year.
Talking about the actor, Rana Daggubati became a heartthrob along with his co-star Prabhas after Baahubali series. While Prabhas played the protagonist role of Baahubali, Rana played Bhallaladeva, the villain.
