MUMBAI: Cinemax has launched a six-screen multiplex in New Delhi’s Pacific Mall at Rajouri Garden.
The movies to be screened at the multiplex will be Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maaro Dum and the Akshay Kumar starrer Thank You.
The new property has a total seating capacity of 1116 including 113 Golden recliner seats. With this, Cinemax now has a total of 110 screens having a seating capacity of 28181 across 33 properties.
The multiplex is equipped with 7.1 Dolby surround sound, fully digital and 3D compatible screens.
Cinemax CEO Sunil Punjabi said, "With this foray in India’s capital city, we have a significant imprint into the northern territory. We will continue to expand our footprint across the country to reach out to a wider audience. This launch is a step towards the reinforcement of Cinemax’s commitment of providing the best of Indian and International Cinema to all its viewers across the country."
