MUMBAI: Viacom 18’s Hindi general entertainment channel Colors will soon be launching a new show called Badmaash Company.
As per information available with Businessofcinema.com, the show will either be hosted by Danny Denzongpa or Juhi Chawla and will go on air by 18 June, 2011.
Badmaash Company is a kiddie based chat show on the lines of Say Na Something to Anupam Uncle that was hosted by Anupam Kher. Currently Colors is in talks with both Denzongpa and Chawla to host the new show.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, a source close to the development said, “The show will go on air from 18 June. The channel is speaking to both Danny and Juhi. They will go with whoever gives them the required dates for the show.”
At the time of filing this story, Colors programming head Ashwini Yardi was unavailable for comment.
