Crest Animation Studios’ Alpha & Omega grosses $35 million at box office

MUMBAI: Crest Animation Studios’ first CGI animated 3D stereoscopic film Alpha & Omega, which was released by Lionsgate on 17 September, 2010 has, as of date grossed collections of approximately $35 million.

The movie is still running in the US, UK, France and some other territories. The film is yet to be released in other major territories like Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, Japan and Latin America.

The full financial implications of the film will be reflected in the Financial Year 2011-12.

The company has also started receiving interests from other distributors from Hollywood for co-production and distribution alliances.

Alpha & Omega is an animated comedy about two mismatched wolves and has voices of artistes like Justin Long, Hayden Panetierre, Christina Ricci, Danny Glover, Dennis Hopper and Larry Miller.
